How to study for 1z0-1070-20 - Oracle Cloud Platform Identity and Security Management 2020 Specialist

Hi all,

One advantage of not using BrainDumps when preparing for tests:

You can go for the 2020 version right after 2019 :)

A good start point is here:

You can find some pdfs and videos here (it's not sufficient to take the test):

OPN Material:

Access the Partner Readiness and Enablement Platform to take the new training

The 2020 version:
  • The number of questions decreased from 66 to 55!
  • The exam time decreased from 105 minutes to 85 minutes!

New topics:
  • Design for Security and Compliance in OCI
  1. Describe OCI Shared Security Responsibility Module
  2. Describe features and benefits of Customer Isolation, Data Encryption, Security Control, Visibility, and Verifiably Secure Infrastructure.
  3. Design Hybrid Cloud Architecture on OCI using FastConnect, IPSec VPN and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  4. Describe typical use cases for Multi-Factor Authentication and Identity Federation
  5. Describe typical use cases for OCI Vault (Keys and Secrets)
  6. Describe key capabilities provided by Oracle Data Safe
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Fundamentals
  1. Create and use IAM Policies, Compartments, Policy Inheritance & IAM-Tags
  2. Configure & troubleshoot OCI network resources to secure cloud deployment, this includes VCN, Routing Tables, Security Rules, Gateways, Virtual Firewall
  3. Understand how OCI implements Encryption and Key management
  • Identity Cloud Service Fundamentals
  1. Use EBS Asserter, Identity Bridge and Integrations
  2. Configure Application Gateway

These new topics are not fully covered on ULS course, I recommend you to take a look at OCI Level 100 and OCI Level 200:

And I recommend you to have a free account and test everything you can!

Oracle Identity Security Operations Center is huge, Oracle could easily break the exam in 3!
I'm reading and testing IDCS, CASB, and OMC since December. About 30 hours in videos and 5,000 pages in PDFs.

And last but not least, stay away from Brain Dumps!

Best of luck
Alex Zaballa
